Hi-Macs & Cristalplant

Normal cleaning only requires a moist cloth and a mild household cleaner. In case a mild cleaner will not remove the stain or spot, use an abrasive cleaner like Sonett, Cif or Bar Keepers Friend and rinse with water. We prefer to use Sonett because it is 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

When using Sonett or Cif, we recommend cleaning the entire surface in a circular motion to maintain uniformity of the matt finish.

Never use aggressive cleaners like chloride solvents, strong acids and products used in the paint sector. Do not pour hot fluids in or on top of the washbasin. When you do, be sure to open the cold tap beforehand. Remove spilled nail polish with a non-acetone-based nail polish remover and rinse with water.

Avoid using strong acidic cleaners (like those designed for drains, toilets or ovens). Some of them can cause whitening, which can be difficult to remove.

To remove limescale, soak the affected area in household vinegar and leave for a few hours. After that, rinse with water and dry with a clean cloth. This process can be repeated as often as needed.

Composite stone

Normal cleaning only requires a moist cloth and a mild household cleaner. In case a mild cleaner will not remove the stain or spot, use an abrasive cleaner like Sonett or Cif and rinse with water.

Since nothing can penetrate the surface, it is unnecessary to impregnate or wax it.

Lacquer & oak

The best way to clean your lacquered or structured oak cabinet is to use a moist cloth with a mild household cleaner (green soap for example). Never use any abrasive or aggressive cleaners as this will damage the surface.

Fenix

For everyday cleaning use a damp microfiber cloth with hot water or a mild household cleaner. A melamine sponge can be used to remove any dirt or micro-scratches.

One of the more innovative features of Fenix is its self-healing capability. To repair a scratch, place a damp paper towel over the affected area and pass over a hot iron.
